Joseph J. Howley, PT

Partner

Joe has been practicing in outpatient orthopedics for 20 years. He is a 1992 graduate of Northeastern University. He has expanded his knowledge base through continuing education including; foot and ankle dysfunction, spinal rehabilitation, correct bicycle fitting and the rehabilitation of associated cycling injuries. He has worked in acute care, neurological rehabilitation, cardio-pulmonary rehabilitation settings in addition to outpatient orthopedic and sports clinics. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Assoc., Private Practice Section. Joe formerly served in the United States Army Reserve as a Staff Sergeant.

Richard L. Bailey, PT

Rick has 26 years of experience in a wide variety of physical therapy disciplines. He graduated in 1989 from Ithaca College and has continued to expand his orthopedic treatment expertise through continuing education including; McConnell Taping Techniques; McKenzie Lumbar and Cervical Treatment; The Joyner Sports Medicine Conference; The New England Shoulder and Sport Symposium; Integrated Neuromuscular Re-Education, Kinesiology Taping& Corrective Exercise Techniques for Advanced Clinical Practice; as well as numerous additional knee and shoulder courses. He is presently a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army Reserve. He was deployed to Kosovo in 2001 and to Iraq in 2006. He is a recipient of the Bronze Star for his service during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Cherie Udden is Ortho Sport Physical Therapy’s office manager. She has more than 20 years experience managing the day to day operations and billing for busy practices. She demonstrates the highest degree of professionalism when dealing with patients, physician offices, and insurance companies. Cherie is married with an adult son and daughter . She is an avid quilter and also enjoys dancing.

Therapist

Nancy is a 1984 graduate of Northeastern University with a BS in Physical Therapy. In her 31 year career, she has worked in a variety of health care settings, gaining experience in medical/surgical rehab, Pulmonary Rehab, stroke and Neuro Rehab, Geriatric Rehab, Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, and wound care. For six years she worked as an elementary school math and reading tutor and substitute teacher. Nancy is married with two adult sons and a dog. She enjoys yoga, cooking, reading and gardening and is an avid Bruins fan.
